At Triangle Truck Sales, our story starts behind the wheel.

Our founder hauled his first load nearly 50 years ago, when he was just 17 years old, driven by a passion for trucks and the open road. He was adopted into a dedicated trucking family in Summit, Illinois, where he cut his teeth working with Montgomery Tank Lines, learning the business from the inside out.

What began as a job quickly became a calling. He became a long-haul tanker driver, spending years on the road and gaining firsthand knowledge of what truckers really need: reliable equipment, fair prices, and honest people who keep their word. Eventually, he bought his first truck. a turning point that sparked a deeper drive to build something bigger.

At the height of his career, our founder expanded his operations nationally, managing terminals across five states—a testament to his strategic vision and dedication to the trucking industry. When the time came to streamline his business, he made the deliberate choice to downsize, selling off those terminals and consolidating his entire inventory back home to Tampa. This move allowed him to personally oversee every truck that comes through Triangle Truck Sales. With an uncanny ability to memorize every truck he’s purchased, he ensures that each potential buyer understands the innate capabilities of every truck.
